Quintain NanoSystems

Quintain NS is launching a major investment into the development of novel, nanoengineered contrast reagents for the early detection of disease states such as CVD, neurological disorders and cancer.  These contrast reagents, when used in conjunction with standard imaging modalities such as MRI, PET or X-rays, will enable disease states to be detected at an early stage of development, possibly 2-3 decades before patients become symptomatic.  This will not only offer a screening tool for high risk populations, but also enable disease progression to be monitored, impacting significantly on the effectiveness of available therapies and enabling preventative measures to be administered.
