Quintain NanoSystems IP portfolio has been further extended, with the filing of a provisional patent in February 2008.
The patent is a result of work performed at RMIT's School of Medical Radiations and relates to the use of nanoparticles as novel imaging and radiotherapeutic reagents. These reagents will enable safer, more effective in vivo detection and treatment of diseased tissues, whilst reducing damage to surrounding healthy tissues.
The filing of the patent enables Quintain NanoSystems to discuss opportunities for the technology, with potential co-development partners and investors.
