Two of the patents relate to the NanoArrays Diagnostic platform. The first is a PCT filed by Swinburne University of Technology in June 2007: "Method for Forming MicroArrays and NanoArrays" . The second is a provisional, filed by Monash University in November 2007 and is titled "Chemical Compound Arrays".
RMIT University also filed a provisional patent in October 2007, which is titled "Nanoparticles and Diagnostic Uses thereof" and describes the development of a novel antibody for meningococcal diagnosis in addition to device formats using RMIT's nanoparticle and nanocluster technology.
